Youth Climate Changemakers Fund for Youth Organisations

As part of the Youth Climate Changemakers Fund, registered organisations can apply for grants of between €1000 and €38,000 to carry out projects that will contribute to strengthening the climate movement.

Key Focus

For registered youth organisations across the 27 EU Member States.

  • Grants between €1,000 and €38,000
  • Support for projects to strengthen the youth climate movement
  • Focus on engaging and reaching new, diverse audiences
  • Priority on creating long-term impact and legacy
  • Contribution to joint campaigning on a Just Transition
  • Access to financial support, training, and networking opportunities
This funding will support the MigRise Climate Academy in creating safe spaces for dialogue, education, and advocacy that align climate justice with the priorities and cultural contexts of migrant, black and people of colour youths (MBPY). Consequently, the diversity gap and interest deficit will be bridged by promoting climate belonging and empowering youth to become active agents of change.

Campaigning on Just Transition

We were also looking for partners from diverse fields and backgrounds, including those not traditionally focused on climate issues, to  actively shape and engage in a joint campaign for a Just Transition. How do we understand Just Transition? A systemic shift towards an equitable, sustainable and inclusive society that tackles the root causes of social and environmental injustices within economic, political, and social structures.
