About Us
Generation Climate Europe (GCE) is the largest coalition of youth-led networks on climate and environmental issues at the European level. GCE unites the largest youth-led networks in Europe, bringing together 381 national organisations across 46 countries in Europe. We are guided by the voices of over 20 million young Europeans. Uniting European youth networks, GCE creates a platform for the youth to advocate for a just and green transition in Europe. GCE envisions a system that respects human rights and the planet, that includes the voice of youth and acknowledges our common, but differentiated responsibility in achieving a carbon-neutral and sustainable world.
About the Role
Since its foundation in 2019, GCE has grown to over 200 volunteers from various countries around Europe operating on a remote basis. It is now important to keep on growing in a sustainable and efficient way! As Human Resources Coordinator, you will support Working Groups and Teams for the whole recruitment and offboarding process: from strategies to promoting the vacancies, to the onboarding and exit interviews.
Tasks:
- Update internal guidelines on onboarding and offboarding procedures and support Coordinators in the processes.
- Check that all inactive volunteers are correctly offboarded and help the Communications Team to keep the team page updated on the website.
- Strategically optimize the GCE volunteer recruiting and onboarding process:
- Collect requests for vacancies to be opened on the website;
- Cooperate in the drafting of the vacancies;
- Support the Communications Team in promoting the vacancies, implementing new recruitment strategies.

- You are motivated and detail-oriented.
- You can work remotely and have reliable internet and computer access.
