Content Creator – European Parliament Elections

About Us

Generation Climate Europe (GCE) is the largest coalition of youth-led networks on climate and environmental issues at the European level. GCE unites the largest youth-led networks, bringing together 381 national organisations across 46 countries in Europe. We are guided by the voices of over 20 million young Europeans. GCE creates a platform for the youth to advocate for a just and green transition in Europe. GCE envisions a system that respects human rights and the planet, that includes the voice of youth and acknowledges our common, but differentiated responsibility in achieving a carbon-neutral and sustainable world.

About the Role

The European Parliament Elections Team is a project team that is working on GCE’s election strategy for the European Parliament elections of 2024. Our aim is to strengthen the climate and environmental policies of the EU before, during and after the elections. Our elections strategy focuses on:

  • influencing the manifesto’s and priorities of the political parties;
  • engaging young people to vote by explaining why voting matters to address the climate crisis;
  • informing young people about the European Parliament, the EP elections and the different positions of political candidates and parties on climate and environmental topics.
