Generation Climate Europe wanted to directly hear from young people about their experiences and thoughts on urban mobility and last-mile deliveries.
European Youth’s Mobility and Delivery Habits
The objective of the “European Youth’s Mobility and Delivery Habits” campaign is to produce an overview of the urban mobility and last-mile delivery opinions and habits of young people living in different European Cities.
Through a survey conducted in 10 different European cities selected due to their high percentages of young people and geographical representation, one comparative study will be produced within this project. This report will analyse the perspective of young people concerning urban mobility and last-mile delivery habits in their city.
The goal of the campaign is two-fold:
Analyse
Analyse the different situations and policies concerning urban mobility and last-mile deliveries in 10 European cities. Understand their similarities or differences, the challenges they face and what they can learn from each other.
Improve
Improve understanding of young people‘s behaviour and preferences towards last-mile deliveries and urban mobility.
The project is supported by the Clean Mobility Collective which works toward achieving clean and climate-resilient urban mobility in cities and urban environments. GCE has been actively engaged in EU clean mobility issues, bringing together the voices of young people from Europe and beyond. Past projects include activities in a campaign named “Youth for Zero Emissions Urban Mobility”.
Do you still want to contribute with your input?
Do you want to hear what young people think about urban mobility and last-mile deliveries in their cities? There is a lack of information on young people’s opinions of urban mobility and their habits in relation to their perceived mobility quality. The report conducted by Generation Climate Europe fills this gap.
