Generation Climate Europe has had a growing presence at the past UNFCCC COPs. In order to further promote youth climate activism, engage in bilateral discussions, and facilitate strong partnerships, GCE scaled up its COP team in 2023. This report highlights the major activities, meetings, and positions that GCE organised in preparation for COP28 in Dubai.
This includes a look into our on-the-ground activities as well as a reflection and response to the major outcomes of the event. The report concludes with the organisation’s next steps in preparation for COP29.
